The NuGrape BOD has adopted these rules as of May 2018.
General
- The entire rooftop deck is open to all homeowners and residents at all times.
- Use caution on the stairway – use the handrail.
- Respect the neighbors and mind heavy footsteps on all stairways.
- Personal property may not be left on the deck when you leave.
- Clean up when you leave and take your trash with you.
- Turn off the lights when you leave.
- Community property such as furniture, cushions, pillows, and carpeting is not to be removed from the roof deck. When moving furniture, do not drag the furniture – lift it off the deck and place it back on the deck.
Our roof is delicate and flammable
STAY ON THE DECK. Up to $1000 fine for roof access (off the deck) without written permission from NuGrape Board. Complete this form at least 48 hours in advance to request permission to access non-deck areas. If an emergency (less than 48 hours advance notice), text all Board members AND complete the form.
Be responsible when smoking. Use an ashtray and the smokers pole.
Prohibited items & activities
- Running on the deck or stairs
- Jumping on the deck or stairs
- Climbing on the railing or building
- Throwing anything off the roof deck
- Ball playing
- Unsupervised children under age 14
- Pets on the furniture
- Use of suntan oils/lotions without towels to protect furniture
- Open flame of any kind, including:
- Candles & tiki torches
- Grills
- Fire pits
- Heaters
- Fireworks of any kind
- Littering
Guests
Non-resident guests may be invited to use the roof as long as the homeowner or tenant who invited them is present and the number of guests per apartment is less than eight.
There shall be no parties or events with eight or more guests per Unit without written NuGrape Board approval. If eight or more guests are expected, complete this form at least five days in advance of the party. Homeowners and tenants are responsible for the behavior of their non-resident guests.
Violations of the rules may subject the homeowner or tenant to fees or other actions, including restitution and/or lease termination.
